I got back in PO* at 5.82 and I plan to hold it for very long time. You are right, when the mania hits, it will go ballistic.

I do have a lagging concern about the source of its gold - mainly surface material it is re-working. If its present cost per combined oz. is $700, it means that the deep stuff is horribly expensive to mine. I think tht is the source of the undervaluation though, as you note, many SA miners seem to be in the same boat.

New labor agreements do not help.

But, yes, the balance sheet is healthy. Management is a plus.

I think short term (2-3 years) energy costs are going to be reasonable.
