As a Seattle resident, do you want your appliances shut off during times when Californians have their air conditioners at full blast?

In fact, when CA has its AC going full blast, the PNW is selling CA energy. In winter, the reverse happens. It has to do the nature of power generation and usage in the two areas.

I wonder if you know what smart technology is? It covers the whole gamut of power generation, distribution and usage from the consumer to interstate exchanges.
