There are going to be a lot of these after-the-fact conversions. No sense in criticizing them for their failure to see what was there to be seen if you just opened your eyes. What we need to be doing now is looking forward and educating the voting public so we can be rid of this scourge - beginning in 2010 and doing the clean-up in 2012.
