Wow, misty eyed early am. Smooth, I can't believe all of the connections you have with my area. Not much sailing around here however so I can see why you are where you are. I am in Las Vegas. We are splitting our trip between downtown and the strip. Well I get comped suites at Binions so we normally stay there. Checked in yesterday and the damn thing is right on Freemont street. I specifically said no to being on Freemont as I don't want the noise. While some party until 0 butt 30, I'm on vacation and want to be able to sleep. Anyhow, very nice suite but now empty as I'm across the road at the Nugget where I also get a suite. Fortunately they had one left. We got here about 2 yesterday and I have the flu which really hit once we got here. So thankfully I have a nice suite and soft bed, I've used them. Starting to feel better already however. Do not feel bad for me being sick in Vegas. We are a bit different in that we do like to do a bit of gambling but are really here to relax and eat some good food cooked by others. I'd rather be sick here then sick at home:-) Only thing better would be a nice cot on top of a mountain somewhere though from the sounds of the snow I would be there until spring.
