Speculative ... and problematic.

I was trying to come up with the most accesssible rationale for the $32 figure -- particularly if the deal was "done" on 10/28-29.

That said, *both* sets of shareholders would have to accept the deal. Structuring and selling it would be a real challenge for all concerned.

Also, as bosom as Jobs and Ellison are, "good fences make good neighbors". Separate fiefdoms would likely serve best.

I keep thinking that we're going to see the announcement of a *substantive* NC joint development initiative.
