A famous lawyer once told me that no one ever did themselves a favour by opening their yaps especially to the authorities. I could never figure out why people feel obligated to open up to police during traffic stops. "Have you been drinking?" "Yes, but I only had a couple beers..." Guy just bought himself a field sobriety check.
