Further to the Fox/White House battle:

I just heard the CEO of Edmunds.com interviewed by Stewart Varney, who is filling in for Cavuto. The guy was actually bemused about the WH reaction to the Edmunds report that Cash 4 Klunkers only generated about 125,000 sales that would not otherwise have happened, resulting in a cost of $24,000 per car. His point was, "everyone knows incentive programs are expensive, and this was particularly expensive." He finds it curious that the WH would decide to try to make an issue out of this.
