Sound like an underground thing. It is in a valley, and must be underground, as you are not going to cut mountains down to mine it open pit. With its grades, good widths are not mandatory, but are desirable from a tonnage point of view. On the other hand, true width is always a question in these situations. We hope it is not too, too bad.

For instance, let's say your vein dipped at 65 degrees away from you and you drilled at 38 degrees down dip to intercept it. The intersection angle would be 180-(38+115) = 27 degrees. True width is the sine of 27 degrees times the intersection length, which is 45.4%. It isn't as bad as it seems. So a 30 foot intersection would be 30 X 0.454 = 13.61 feet.
