Given all the corruption and exorbitant salaries that exist in industry, I would say its the opposite.

Our country is too dependent on oil. You would prefer the gov't does nothing to correct the matter? I certainly don't.

9 A cultural elite that despises the majority of the country's people and the things they hold dear (do an internet news search for Larry David for an example)

I never heard of Larry David but I see he co produced Seinfeld.......one of the most popular shows on TV. Who exactly is this cultural elite you so fear?

10 Epidemics of sexually tranmitted diseases

Yeah, well.....STD have been around since man first birthed himself onto the planet. I don't think they are going anywhere.

Good for you.......you don't think the US is perfect. You had me worried there for a while. ;-)
