The least they should do is contact he and explain his "indiscretion" SI on it's home page pitching new members for sending in $75 and soon $125 to join. "... Most importantly, the site is designed so that interaction increasingly drives the quality of the information received. Silicon Investors share a common interest, and we hope you will jump in and get more than you bargained for..." I would like to know how allowing constant and continuous blatently libelous posts by shorters, stating as fact that many companies are scams, and their managers and SI posting supporters are criminals is deemed acceptible, while a carefully researched, caveated report exploring connections between short sellers and the media/internet are immedietely censored.
