The dishonesty of their plan is beyond belief. Don't beleive for a minute that they will cut Medicare. Here's the plan. We will claim to cut Medicare in this bill, pass it to flim-flam the voters that there will be savings from the Medicare cuts and then we will restore the Medicare cuts in a subsequent bill.

Agreed. My only point of confusion is whether they are such economic illiterates as to think that they can really borrow an infinite amount of money, or do they plan to destroy the dollar? When a nation's currency is plunging, interest rates go to double digits, inflation kicks in, imported goods (like say, oil) skyrocket in price and lots of people get very unhappy, including your voters. One would think they wouldn't want to chose this path. But maybe they don't look that far ahead.
