Well, it's nice to hear from someone who actually LIVES there! Are the Mennonite and Amish mean-spirited enough to be actual movement extreme right wingnuts? I always imagined them as practicing REAL Christians, turning the other cheek and all that rot. I'm kind of with Frank Rich, it's a win-win for the (D)'s no matter what happens. The splintering of the (R) party, already a minority party, can't be good for them. If your guy wins, it will encourage extreme right wingnuts everywhere and drive more moderates and independents away.
