btw, on page 4 of "lords of finance", near the bottom, it says farm land price collapsed.

got me pondering, the only reason we all are expecting such to be good buys is that we figure it would go up in line with money printing, except that we actually cannot know what will and will not go up under conditions of generalize inflation vs pervasive deflation, because anything can happen.

farm land certainly did not increase in true worth in argentina or zimbabwe or anywhere else where times went dire.

i was just thinking about hk farm land (yes, we have farms in hk), and will think some more.

also giving me pause, on hk farms we have snakes ;0/
