Ted, when liberals say there is a revenue problem in CA, they are right, but they will NEVER admit that they are part of the problem.

Businesses and middle-class working people are leaving the state in droves, and it's NOT because the taxes are too low or because government is too small. It's because Sacramento has created such a hostile business environment that people who do pay taxes would rather move to a scorching desert (or in your case, perpetual rain) than continue to deal with these problems.

The result is a brain drain, which leaves a vacuum that is only being filled by disadvantaged minorities. Kind of hard to tax people that don't make much money to begin with.

No need to pretend that the best way to reverse this brain drain is by more liberalism. It's really hard to be any more liberal than a Sacramento Democrat. The only reason why they haven't completely bankrupted this state is because of the 2/3 supermajority rule.

That's the truth.
