As Jobs Vanish, Factory Towns Slow to See Stimulus

There is a reason for this, like it or not. Labor costs are too high. So why not run a plant to produce goods to compete globally with low labor rates then? Surely you are going to find some Americans willing to work for you right?
No way. Why? Minimum wage laws set too high a bar and welfare is unbeatable labor pool competition.
So manufacturing is dead in America. This is why. No one admits it, so its not going to change, just get worse.
All the stimulus, do gooder welfare programs, media tear jerk stories and 20/20 specials aren't going to fix a damn thing about it. And the stimulus? The stimulus is ridiculous nonsense that is like throwing taxpayer money down the toilet. Its making the recession much worse than otherwise.
