Bush cut taxes and started wars

Cutting taxes pulled our economy out of a recession. Wars were started by terrorists attacking us on 9/11. You got anything else?

He took longer to decide on the surge strategy than Obama has taken to consider the strategy going forward in Afghanistan.

LIE.

Bush took FIVE WEEKS to move from the prior strategy to the surge strategy (after the November election to its announcement in December).

During this time, Bush had to not only adopt a new strategy, but had to install a new chain of command -- from Secretary of Defense, CENTCOM commander, Iraq Commander, ambassador, etc.

And Bush had to move to the surge AGAINST the advise of many of his military advisors (following, instead, the advice of Jack Keane).

Accomplishment? Doesn't matter.

I know. To you, accomplishment is nothing. It is all about party politics.
