Scott Novell continues to reap the rewards of their own mishandling of the Word Perfect franchise. <ggg> Your speculation of a takeover being a possible way out strikes me as highly implausible. A friendly aquisition ususally leaves current management in place. Hostile takeovers have to pay up for whatever golden parachutes are in place. It would surprise me not a bit if Cowpland has Chairman and CEO for life contracts with huge penalties should he be ousted against his will. A value play? Hardly. Cheap poison is still poison. Leo
