It really is all too complex for my layman's mind although I persist in trying to grasp it. The mineral assemblages and indicate the types of alteration etc etc and I see one factor that might mean a classic porphyry and then maybe something else that might indicate a diorite porphyry, meanwhile its probably multi-phasic, and I can't sort it out.

What we do know is that EVG has a complex emplacement model down to say 550m with multiple types of gold emplacement. They have now encountered porphyritic material, like fingers on an inflated surgical glove perhaps. What I do know is that the core
body beneath that has the potential for massive size and given the gold predominance so far it may well be a gold rich body.

The chart in the report you referenced does help a lot in putting a visual on how EVG has gold in diatreme, in wallrock in breccia etc. and now in porphyry dikes. To date Q is chasing "where are we in the system" and he constantly gets more complex answers with further drilling but a greater clarity as well. How much they gain on the porphyry model from the next 51 holes I don't know.

Cheers,
Ogi
