I don't believe we're going to tax the wealthy into making things easier for the poor. But, the wealthy SHOULD pay for government, since they benefit greatly more than the poor do.

I don't think taxation should be the method for redistribution. I think what's needed is a mechanism beyond the market for valuing societal contributions and determining how they should be compensated. The market is made of of people, and, let's face it, people on the whole are just to stupid to properly evaluate societal contributions.

You should appreciate this Ten. Under MY scheme, YOU, a highly educated engineer performing valuable work, would probably make as much as a professional ballplayer.
