As of 7/17/2009, the CPI adjusted 2000 dollar is worth 79.04¢,
and the CPI without lies adjusted dollar is worth 50.06¢. The
world purchasing power value has dropped by 10-20% more (based on
other measures of dollar value), for a drop of 45-65% (otherwise
known as inflation) since 2000, and more since 2002 when the
dollar value peaked.
