steve h - Re: " thank you for your response." You're welcome. Glad to be of help. As for KILLER applications, I don't hold out too much hope. What I do think is badly needed is a robust, rock solid operating system - and NT may be it, if it is improved/extended. Since it is touted as being SLOW, Windows NT may be a great driver for faster CPUs when Microsoft eventually merges Windows 9x with NT - sometime in the future. Paul
