patron, in context, roubini is expecting the mother of all dollar carry trade unwinds and that will almost assuredly take gold down to the mat *if* it happens.

i think it will.

the problem is that this will just p*ss gold off, it will get back up and kick the crap out of the dollar - its opponent.

i do get nervous when even greenspan is shilling for gold, though.
