"We've never had this problem of young people being obese like we have today," said Gen. John Shalikashvili, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Daily exercise should be on the same parental priority as brushing your teeth. Can't imagine what the country will be like in 30 years... a bunch of fat slobs. I have to say.....aside from all the politics, the R candidate in NJ was clearly obese, and yet, he made no attempt to reduce his weight before he ran. Does that mean, obesity is becoming acceptable in this country? I hope not. When I was a kid, there was peer pressure to stay thin. Has that changed too?
