Next morning Pinkie drove to Fall Creek to have coffee with police chief and the offending jerk ended up fired that morning with enough put in his record he likely was never a policeman again. Satisfactory outcome to me.

Of course this was before unions protected the jerks and made you hire them back.

satisfactory outcome indeed, and pretty much unheard of in our present environment

all the arresting officer needed to do to protect my son was have the police dept contact ME and i would have picked him up...

instead the left on the street to fend for himself in a strange town in the middle of the night....total disregard for his physical well-being (just like in your case)
