I haven't been able to keep up on the SI threads lately....~2 weeks. Can you give me some reasons why awre is the winner in your mind? I've been waiting for the GTE trial results "Texas" and when WSTL announced they would use the AMTX/MOT chipset and not the AWRE/ADI chipset, i viewed awre as a company that was in trouble in the ADSL area. I've read all the many reasons why AWRE believes DWMT is better then CAP and DMT from AWRE's WWW site. I've heard that many of the AWRE modems in the GTE trial in Texas just don't work and that was one reason why they are missing in the MSFT/Washington trial with GTE. I have this general perception that AWRE is not a safe bet because of technical reasons with their ADSL product. Do you have any information that could change my perception of awre in the ADSL area.

Thanks Bill C.
