Yes, it was serious. Having two years ago gone from Blue Cross as primary to Medicare as primary, I have had many illustrations of what Medicare doesn't pay. Assuming Obamacare would pay similarly, it would be interesting to see an honest death comparison.

Re appealing Medicare, I recently used a medical service not participating in Medicare. Just out of curiosity I have been looking for how one might submit a claim. Haven't found it yet.
