If Hoffman is willing to run again in 2010 he will most likely win the seat.

Republicans selecting a big government liberal seems a bit odd. Spending $900,000 to elect the democrat seems even odder.

I still think the lesson is to nominate and select people who represent values important to the constituency.

It may be that the liberals thought she was a great choice, but she was supposed to be a Republican.
