Dale, ATP Oil (ATPG) -- I've bought a bit of the stock and also some June $10 calls recently. I don't think too many folks were investing in the stock based on any particular expectations about how they did in 3Q, since as you say this is really a "story stock". Not sure when the optimal time to get in would be, but there are a lot of price catalysts that will be kicking in early next year so it would seem like a good idea to get what you want of this stock sometime before Christmas. This is not one of my large positions, and probably never will be at this point, since it has become too much of a "high maintenance" investment -- they have a lot of balls in the air. But I'm comfortable holding a relatively small position in them, even though I don't have either the time or the inclination to track through everything they have going on.
