I have been approached with taking my 401k money and rolling it into an annuity. My 401k is with my current employer. The life insurance agent, who sells annuities, told me I would not be penalized for rolling it over. However, to my understanding I would be. I am 25 years old and have only had my 401k going for about 2 years. I was also told by Fidelity annuity would NOT be something I should be looking into, but to keep my 401k running. I would like a non-biast opinion on what would be best for me. Thanks..
