He was a lone Muslim nut who went "Jihad" on his fellow soldiers. Happens in the Military, but not too often. Since he has lived though this, the plea will be "temporary insanity."

This man did not have a reputation as a gun expert. But he killed 12 men and wounded 30 others in a short period of time. Must have fired at least 50 times. Lots of reloading of automatics going on. The recreation of this crime will be fascinating.
