I always worry about next shoe drop as well (economy is going to tank again)... which could very well include (the Heinz predicted) viscious dollar rallies as US debt implodes.

I'm wondering about the "Canadian problem" as well... ie. their mortgages are all (relatively) short term... (is this true fellow Canucks?)... so when Canadian rates spike (as they must) LOOK OUT! That said, my Canadian dollar positions should do well. :))

That said... a wise person once said.. "you can't be totally out of Gold, it has to be a significant portion of the portfolio... it's the last great play of our lifetime."

hmmmm that seems like so long ago.
