Why would anyone pay $50 an ounce tax when the stuff grows like a weed [which is a nickname]: <Equally hazy Wednesday was potential revenue that could be raised through a $50-per-ounce excise tax, sales taxes and seller fees.> It's probably better to leave it as it is rather than introduce absurd tax laws which will require policing. There will be much more strict policing of tax money than of dopey people smoking dope. When there's some money to be made, the government will be as vicious as garden variety dope dealers and morally no better and actually worse because they should know better. Mqurice
