I am defending human reason against infantile superstition. You have NO "reason" to believe in the bible. You have EVERY "reason" to discount it for what it is: Primitive and superstitious tribal mythology from pre-scientific times when fear and imagination trumped reason like 4 aces trump 6 high. "of course you can rest in the assurance that having rejected your only source of grace; you will receive the rich reward that you deserve and not one thing more." I will receive eternal peace and so will you. Hardly fair, is it?? What you really deserve is "heaven"--LOL!! "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Especially if you not a virgin, eh??!! Or is that the other way around??!! I guess it depends on whether 5 minutes of torture and slaughter per person is better or worse than 20 years of rape and slavery.
