No, what's amazing is that you can't grasp the fact that I accept that the Taliban harbored, supported and protected Al Queda back before 2001.

You can't create reality with spin or magical thinking. The 9/11 criminals trained in Europe and the US, as well as overseas. They didn't need to run around in camo shooting at little targets in Afghanistan, they needed high tech training and they got it, over here.
But maybe I'm wrong. Why don't you tell me how 9/11 wouldn't have been possible today at a time when there is no Afghan sanctuary for Al Queda?

I know who the enemy is. Extremists are the enemy but people like Bush, Cheney most of our Southern Republican legislators and you, all foolishly advocating and pursuing ineffective, expensive and life losing policies that heighten the danger at the expense of pursuing more effective strategies, have done more to harm America than the extremists could have ever dreamed of doing.
It's going to take a lot of spin to hide that tragic fact from the powerful floodlights of history. Ed
