(i) china sell cheap the expensively imported raw material processed in china, continue to pollute china but deny china the upstream margins necessary for cleanup and upgrade
(ii) sell china cap & trade carbon credit expensive, else tariff china for more profit, and
(iii) continue to spin the rubbish about "we think, they sweat, ain't we smart" and maintain 20:1 difference in standard of living while chanting about flexibility, dynamism, democracy, and all sorts of snake oil potion
(iv) sell china finished goods expensive, manufactured out of china processed semi-finished stuffing, via gunboat open door regime
(v) disallow china to spend hard earned and harder saved zero interest fiat paper money on anything more useful than toilet paper
in a few words, they want china to be just like a saudi arabia, else turn china into iraq.
what they are having trouble with is the truth that should they pull china out of the empire / eu's econo-financial-monetary gene lattice, the hosts die a painful and twisted demise.
well ... recommendation to china: build rockets, big, thick, long, cheap, at least 12k km range, mirv-ed, decoy-ed, anti-satellite and anti-abm enabled, submarine/land mobile launched, plenty, and be very transparent about atomic level intent to keep the solid-fueled peace. |
