No, what's amazing is that you can't grasp the fact that I accept that the Taliban harbored, supported and protected Al Queda back before 2001.

Ah.. so you're saying it would have been their enemy THEN, but not now, right?

Is this interfering with your "Toys for Taliban" efforts?

But maybe I'm wrong. Why don't you tell me how 9/11 wouldn't have been possible today at a time when there is no Afghan sanctuary for Al Queda?

Tell us how that 9.11 wouldn't have been prevented had we actually moved forward with plans to kill Usama Bin Ladin prior to his approving, and presumably financing the 9.11 terrorists?

The Taliban think like Al Qaida and Bin Ladin. That's why they relied upon Arab Al Qaida fighters to augment their army prior to 2001.

They haven't changed their nature, their ideology, or their agenda. The only person who has changed is you, because you prefer not to see them as they are.

But that doesn't matter Ed. They still perceive you as an infidel and they are grateful that they have been able to deceive you into believing they are not our enemies.
