Hello marcos, Long time, no see... Hope all is well with you and your family. Stockhouse does not have the same legal protections afforded them under Canadian laws that SI and other USA chat sites enjoy under USA laws. Stockhouse also has financial problems and cannot afford a costly defense against any litigious group of individuals that would stop at nothing to bully their way into a legal judgement. Canadian laws are very weak in protecting individual rights and individual freedoms, and in fact, do favor dubious companies and their slimy legal representation. So much for the "cute, cuddly Canadian" myth... <g> Therefore, Stockhouse had little leeway in their choice to disband the "offensive" thread. From the standpoint of an American, Canadian lawmakers collectively have no backbone; cowardly (or complicit) in the extreme regarding their desires to curb this type of abhorrent behavior. So, don't anyone blame Stockhouse. Blame spineless Canadian lawmakers... EK!!!
