That's your opinion, of course. But it is political, not rational.

Bush's successes were many, but the "anti-war at any cost" crowd would never see them. I think Bush's last two years were fairly criticized in the foreign policy arena, but he DID win the Iraq War which (if Obama doesn't f*ck it up) will pay dividends for decades to come. And Bush didn't control spending as he should have.

But he had a very large kettle of fish to fry and obviously had to make hard choices about what was important to him. Protecting America was the top thing on his list, and unlike Obama, he did that very well.
