I have literally stopped talking to or emailing a couple of "friends"..........people I've known for years........ Yesterday, I was talking to a friend at the funeral we went to. She's like-minded and said she's turned down invitations from long time friends because the conversations have become so strained - actually no conversation because they refuse any discussion and get huffy. Doesn't stop her from making comments about the sorry state we're in.
