O'Reilly gets passive liberal people on his show and makes them look stupid. Its called being a bully.

This tactic is used daily on CNN (e.g., Paul Begala against the token Republican strategist). But I've never seen that done on O'Reilly at all. Can you please provide an example where this was done?

Occasionally, he gets a strong liberal on like B. Frank or Letterman and they make quick work of him.

I can't say I've ever seen anyone make "quick work" of him, unless he just refused to be nasty. I would urge you to watch on youtube the interview with Marvin Kalb, and in particular, if you could find the ENTIRE interview (not just the clips from O'Reilly's show). He destroyed Kalb at every turn, and Kalb in not a dummy.

When you mention Letterman, it is a little different -- because he's in front of a hate-filled liberal audience. So, he's in a hostile environment. Still, I don't recall Letterman ever "making quick work" of O'Reilly.

I don't watch his show daily because I find a lot of it boring. But I still find O'Reilly to be smart and an excellent, fair interviewer. There certainly isn't anyone else on TV in his category.
