Hawkmoon, yet another post where you don't address the issues. You do know that's true, don't you?

For instance, in response to your great fear of a second Taliban sponsored Al Queda sanctuary I asked whether the absence of such a sanctuary would prevent another 9/11.

Your answer...None. Instead you fall back to talking about how Bin Ladin should have been killed before 9/11.

What does that have to do with the point you were making about how we had to stop Al Queda by preventing the Taliban from taking power and giving them a base of operations?

And then, of course, you went into your one-trick-pony routine about how "they" all think alike and how "they" think like Al Queda and Bin Ladin.

Do you realize how many times you use the words "they" or "their" to conflate huge populations with the most radical figures like Bin Ladin and the most radical groups like Al Queda?

The real experts aren't so simplistic. They understand that many groups have complex goals and competing policies.

And they understand that even if they would all like to see the world turn to their version of Islam, just as you would like to see the world turn to whatever you believe in, that doesn't make most of them a threat to launch an aggressive world war.

But that's the difference between thinkers and those of you who indulge yourselves in hysterical rantings. Ed
