Yep, the situation we are in is a Keynesian swamp. <g> No matter
what they do, it keeps sucking the economy in. A currency crisis is
one version of it, of course, but this seems to be a different
kind of swamp, more gradual. We are in a few years of tough
love and economic violence, until some significant reform
of the system is implemented. So far there was none. The
same people who got us into this mess are trying to get
us out, and we keep rolling. They try to do post-bubble
Keynesian stimulus, and the rot just spreads. We have a problem.
They have to clean up the rot, which they won't do. They feed it
instead. The crisis is far from over, we keep rolling into it!
