I don't know it for a fact, but evidently he thinks all he has to do is say no and that is that.

After I'd joined the ROAD program <g> during my last few years in the Navy I ended up doing a ton of squadron indoctrinations, the vast majority being green kids fresh from high school. Most had a pretty good idea of what it meant to enlist and take the oath. The large portion of the behavioral problems we'd get were from the inner city kids who came to our unit with chips on their shoulders, no doubt part of the me me crowd.... It got so I could spot those guys in about 5 seconds, sometimes the 'extra attention' they'd get from me would work, sometimes not..... too often I'd end up seeing them later in a more formal setting...<g>
