BRESEA SHAREHOLDERS GROUP RECOMMENDS NEW COMPETENT, HONEST, AND ETHICAL BOARD
THE BSR GROUP OF SHAREHOLDERS SAYS "RESIGNATION OF DAVID WALSH"
OFFERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A NEW BOARD THAT IS COMPETENT,
ETHICAL AND HONEST AND WHO HAS NEVER BEEN AFFILLIATED WITH DAVID
WALSH OR ANY OTHER DIRECTOR, OR EMPLOYEE OF BRE-X, BRESEA, OR BRO-X.
The BSR group of shareholders welcomes the news that David Walsh will
resign from Bre-X and Bresea. ÿWe believe it is imperative to have all
current directors replaced by respected, qualified, and ethical individuals
from the mining industry who have no current or past relationship or
affiliation with David Walsh or any other previous director, or employees
of Bresea, Bre-x or Bro-x.
The BSR group is in the final stages of recruiting, and qualifying eight
individuals who meet the criteria of "respected", "qualified", and
"ethical". ÿAt this time the BSR group has received three commitments, two
conditional commitments, and three giving our offer serious consideration. ÿIn
addition to these eight, the BSR group recommends that it is prudent to have at
least one minority shareholder representative elected to the board.
The BSR group will offer to shareholders a slate of directors who:
1.are experienced, competent, and capable,
2.have impeccable character and credibility,
3.include among them experienced senior geologists (Indonesian and
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿNorth American with experience in gold and base metals),
4.include among them expertise in financial management, control, and
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿshareholder relations
5.all believe they are accountable to their shareholders, will act in
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿthe shareholders best interests at all times, and will maximize
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿshareholder value in an honest and trustworthy manner.
