his financial appointments are the worst things we know about. the bailouts are an indirect result of those appointments and the stupidity of our congress that just didnt do their job and havent for years. Its probably unfair to expect a lawyer/ proffessor type to be able to appoint good candidates in every area but even joe six pack would not hire a builder whose last building collapsed and was determined to have been structurally unsound. Of course I could be wrong about that since we reelected Dubya to a second term. I love the way Obama manages to flit from one unsolved problem to another remaining optimistic about the ability to solve all of them. Lets see we have the economy. iraq, afghanistan, health care, the middle east, climate change, and now sleeper cells in the military?
