Yes, that's an alternative, one that I mentioned as a possibility. Well, actually, I didn't mention raising the price because that would involve government intervention. What I mentioned was letting the price rise until the demand dropped.

Do you think you could get away with that politically?

Would it bother your conscience that the death toll would likely be greater than if you had targeted the vaccine?

Do you think that your proposal is not effectively the same as rationing and that making that decision would be morally different from using a "death panel" to determine allocation?
