You argue both sides of your butt with equal fervor...the administration couldn't have moved the economy to growth with three quarters of stimulus, but it can and has moved unemployment up in the same time period. Earth to inode...these are bush/republican legacies, no matter how much you trash about and spin BS.
This is an argument that never ends. Not only because you are and Obama butt-boy, but because you don't know anything about economics.
So, it is pointless. You think Obama is god, I think he isn't. You think Bush caused all the problems facing this country today, I think he didn't. No matter what I say you'll still think what you do. I'm willing to give Obama credit for what he does favorably, but frankly, all I've seen is big spending liberalism, which is not healthy for our economy. With few exceptions, most economists, even the liberal ones, are concerned about the spending.
Take a look at Rogoff's recent book; even though he is strongly supportive of politically Obama, he can't quite square that notion with what he sees the country facing -- i.e., massive, intractable debt that almost certainly is leading to a massive decline over the next couple of decades.
This is the problem. You [liberals] have spent and spent until the future of American prosperity has died. We are very close to a point of no return. The health care bill, if it passes, clearly will take us beyond that point. Cap-and-trade could do the same. Both together would mean the death of American within a much shorter time frame. |
