<The fact that you can mix sperm and egg together outside of the mothers body and still get the same initial result (IOW a new and genetically distinct Human being) shows your point is completely invalid.> No it doesnt... it does show that your "initial result" ie fertilization probably isn't as 'special' as you're making it out to be however... since the fertilzed egg must become part of a suitable environment (mother) quickly or it dies.
