Perhaps this has already been said, but considering that in order to have a competitive cpu offering you have to have the most advanced and efficient process, what other foundry can AMD go to besides GF? IBM, Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Pte. Ltd., GlobalFoundries, Infineon Technologies AG, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and STMicroelectronics Inc. They are collectively referred to as the IBM Fab Club. eetimes.com
