It is an interesting story. I remember hearing that LGND sued Pfizer and won. I thought that in itself was pretty impressive.

Looks like LGND's receptor screening technology must be awfully accurate. One would think a lot more companies would be interested in accessing that technology and that LGND could make a pretty penny just selling its screening technology.

As I understand it droloxifene is well on its way to quite possibly being a billion dollar drug for osteoporosis alone. 3% would certainly be a lot better than 1%. Let's hope they get another indication. Is that 1 or 3% of total sales? Or of profits?

BTW, Henry, what the hell is this stock doing under 15??

Sounds like LGND has gotten a lot smarter as it has gotten some experience in making deals. Double digits are much better than single. Any idea why they don't just license the technology, say receptor by receptor. Do you think they could make money like that?
